[User Guide] Anderic RR3UNV 3-Device Universal Remote Control

The Anderic RR3UNV Universal Remote is a user-friendly, 3-device solution designed specifically for hospitality environments such as hotels, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and guest suites. It’s the ideal remote for rooms with a TV, DVD/Blu-ray player, and an audio system—replacing multiple remotes with one streamlined unit.

Quick Key Programming by Brand

1. Turn on the unit manually.
2. Point this remote at it. Press and hold the mode key (TV, DVD, or AUDIO), then press and hold the corresponding brand number from the chart below. After 5 seconds, the LED will light. Please keep holding the keys.
3. When the TV is turned off, release the keys; the code will be saved automatically. Try most keys; if many keys are non-responsive, try doing these steps again or try one of the methods below.

Direct Code Programming

Find the 4 digital codes from the TV CODE LIST:

1. Turn on the device manually. Point this remote at it. Press and hold the mode key (TV, DVD, or AUDIO), then press and hold the [POWER] key. After 3 seconds, the LED will light, release them.
2. Input the 4 digital codes. If the codes are input correctly, the LED will turn off. If not, the LED will flash 4 times, and the setting will be exited.
3. Test the remote control function keys. If many keys do not work, please repeat Steps above with a different code.

• NOTICE: During the whole setup process, if no key is pressed in 10 seconds the setting will be exited.

Automatic Search Programming

1. Turn on the device manually. Point this remote at it. Press and hold the mode key (TV, DVD, or AUDIO) key for about 7 seconds, and the LED will be lit. Release it. It starts to search for code automatically.
2. When the unit is powered off, please press the [OK] key to save the codes and exit the search mode.

Manual Search Programming

1. Turn on the device manually. Point this remote at it. Press and hold the mode key (TV, DVD, or AUDIO), then long-press [CH+] for about 5 seconds, the TV LED will be lit. Release the keys.
2. Press the key [CH+] or [CH-]; each time you press it will search once. When the channel changes, please press [OK] to save the code.  
3. If long press the key [CH+] / [CH-], it will search fast. When the channel changes, please release the key. Press [CH-] / [CH+] to adjust the code. If the channel changed again, please press [OK] to save the code.

• NOTE: During the setting process, if no key is pressed in 10 seconds the setting will be exited automatically.

Learn Function Programming

1. Press and hold the mode key (TV, DVD, or AUDIO), then long-press [VOL+] for about 5 seconds; the LED will be lit. Release the two keys. It is ready to learn.
2. Point the original remote control to this remote. The distance should be within 1-3 cm.
3. Press the function key of the original remote control. The LED of this remote will keep flashing, then press any key on this remote to learn the code. The LED of this remote will stay lit. Please repeat Step 2 to continue learning other function keys.
4. After learning all the keys, Press and hold the mode key (TV, DVD, or AUDIO), then press [VOL-], the LED will go out. The learning will be saved.

• NOTE: During the learning process, if no key is pressed in 25 seconds, the learning state will be exited without saving.

Code Identification

To know what codes the remote control is using:

1. Use the TV as an example, press and hold the device key [TV] first, then press and hold the [POWER] key. After 3 seconds, the LED will light, release them.
2. Input 990 with number keys. The LED will flash twice and then turn off.
3. Press 1, count indicator flashes;
4. Press 2, count indicator flashes;
5. Press 3, count indicator flashes;
6. Press 4, count indicator flashes.

• For example, pressing 1 will make the LED start flashing. The number of flashes indicates the first digit of the code number. If the code number is 0, the LED will not flash.

Sleep Key Programming

Use this method after programming your remote, and the [SLEEP] key doesn’t work, or if our TV doesn’t have the sleep feature.

1. Turn the TV on.
2. Press and hold the [SLEEP] key on the remote until the LED lights and remain on, then release the key.
3. Input the time you wish the TV to turn off using the numerical keypad. Valid inputs would be 01– 99 minutes. (Example: Press keys [0] then [1] for 1 minute). The LED will turn off.
4. You must now point remotely towards the TV with an unrestricted view of the TV.

NOTE: To cancel the Sleep setting, press the [SLEEP] or [POWER] key to exit.

Restore to Factory Settings

1. Press and hold the key [TV] first, then long-press the [POWER] key for about 3 seconds, and the LED will light. Release the keys.
2. Press the key [CC], the LED will flash 3 times. The factory setting is restored.

Volume Punch-through

For example, we copy the audio volume control function to the TV mode:

1. Press and hold the device key [TV] first, then press and hold the key [POWER] for about 3 seconds; the LED is on. Release the keys.
2. Input 993 with number keys. LED will flash 2 times.
3. Press the device key [AUDIO], the LED will flash 2 times. The setting is saved and exited.
4. Now under TV mode. The volume key function is the same as AUDIO mode. The TV volume cannot be controlled.

• NOTE: During the setup process, if no key is pressed in 10 seconds or other keys are pressed, the setup will be exited without saving.

Volume Unlock for all devices

1. It is used to unlock all volume lock settings.
2. Press and hold the device key [AUDIO] first, then press and hold the key [POWER] for about 3 seconds; the LED is on. Release the keys.
3. Input 993 with number keys. LED will flash 2 times.
4. Press VOL+ once, and the LED will blink four times. The setting is saved and exited.
