[User Guide] Anderic RR1003 Universal 1-Device Smart TV Remote Control with EzWipe Surface

INSTALLING BATTERIES

Using a coin, insert the coin into the slot at the bottom of the remote and turn ¼ rotation counterclockwise until the door opens. Insert 2 AAA batteries (sold separately) with the correct polarity according to the picture on the back of the remote. Replace the battery cover by aligning it back and rotating it ¼ turn clockwise until tight.

PROGRAMMING CODE METHOD

  1. Press and hold the [TV POWER] and the [OK] keys simultaneously for about 3 seconds. The indicator light will turn on, then release the keys.
  2. Input the four-digit code. If the code is accepted, the indicator light will turn off. If not accepted, the indicator light will flash four times and exit programming.
  3. Check the code with the TV to see if all the keys you need work. If not, try repeating the above steps with a different code.

PROGRAMMING FAST SEARCH

  1. Press and hold the [TV POWER] and the [CH+] keys simultaneously for about 3 seconds. The indicator light will turn on, then release the keys. NOTE: The following step provides two ways to scan the code database. Holding the CH+ or the CH- keys will scan quickly and automatically forward or backward through the database. Pressing and releasing the CH+ or CH- key will increment or decrement the code by one at a time. The CH+ key is to scan forward through the database, and the CH- key is to scan backward through the database.
  2. Press and release (to go to the next code one by one), or Press and hold (to scan automatically) the CH+ (forward) or CH- (backward) key until your TV responds by adjusting the volume. Release the key. Try some other keys to see if the TV responds appropriately.
  3. To save, press the [OK] key, and the indicator light will turn off to confirm. Try the remote with the TV, and if the TV is not responding as it should, repeat these steps.

SETTING SLEEP TIMER

Note: After programming, if the TV responds appropriately when the SLEEP key is pressed, this setup is unnecessary.

  1. Press and hold the [SLEEP] key for about three seconds. The indicator light will turn solid, then release the key.
  2. Using the keypad, enter a two-digit number from 01 to 99 to set the sleep timer for that number of minutes. For example, entering [30] will set the remote to power off the TV in 30 minutes.
  3. Position the remote in a direct line of sight with the TV and wait. The remote will power off the TV when the time has elapsed. Note: Pressing the [TV POWER] or the [SLEEP] key will cancel the sleep function.

CODE IDENTIFICATION

Note: Use the following instructions to identify the current code. Identifying the code is helpful if you want to know the code currently programmed in the remote

  1. Press and hold the [TV POWER] and the [OK] keys simultaneously for about 3 seconds. The indicator light will turn on, then release the keys.
  2. Input code [990]. The indicator light will flash twice and then turn off.
  3. Press the [1] key; the indicator light will flash. Count the number of flashes, which will be the code's first digit. If the indicator light does not flash, the digit is 0.
  4. Press the [2] key; the indicator light will flash. Count the number of flashes, which will be the code's second digit. If the indicator light does not flash, the digit is 0.
  5. Press the [3] key; the indicator light will flash. Count the number of flashes, which will be the code's third digit. If the indicator light does not flash, the digit is 0.
  6. Press the [4] key; the indicator light will flash. Count the number of flashes, which will be the code's fourth digit. If the indicator light does not flash, the digit is 0.
  7. Press any other key to quit code identification mode. Not pressing any key for 10 seconds will leave code identification mode.

LEARNING FUNCTION


Note: This programming option allows for learning any key from the original remote (IR) to the RR1003 remote. Please use 3-5 CM.

  1. Press and hold the [TV POWER] and the [VOL+] keys simultaneously for about 3 seconds. The indicator light will turn on, then release the keys.
  2. While pointing the head of the original remote to the head of the RR1003, Press and release the key on the original remote and the indicator light with the flash, then press and release the same key on the RR1003 remote. The indicator will return to the on (steady).
  3. Repeat step 2 for all keys you wish to learn on the RR1003.
  4. When finished, Press and hold the [TV POWER] and the [VOL-] keys simultaneously to save and exit, and the indicator light will turn off.

Note: if there is no activity for 25 seconds, the RR1003 will exit Learning Mode.


RESET TO FACTORY DEFAULT

  1. Press and hold the [TV POWER] and the [OK] keys simultaneously for about 3 seconds. The indicator light will turn on, then release the keys.
  2. Input code [977].
  3. Press [OK]. The indicator light will flash four times and then turn off. The remote has reset.
