Fan Operation

Turn the Fan On

Press any speed button (I through VI) to start the fan at the selected speed.

Change Fan Speed

Press a different speed button at any time to adjust the fan speed.

Turn the Fan Off

Press the OFF (■) button.

Reverse Fan Direction

Press the REV button to reverse the fan’s rotation direction.

Light Operation

Turn the Light On or Off

Press either Light Control button once to turn the light on or off.

Adjust Light Brightness

Press and hold either Light Control button for more than 0.7 seconds. The light will continuously cycle through brightness levels until the button is released.

Auto-Resume Light Memory

The wall control remembers the previous light brightness setting. After power is restored, the light returns to the last stored brightness level.

Pairing the Wall Control

After power has been restored to the ceiling fan:

  1. Turn on power to the fan.
  2. Within 60 seconds, press and hold the OFF/STOP button for approximately 5 seconds.
  3. The receiver will lock onto the wall control’s frequency.
  4. If the fan includes a light kit, the light will blink twice to confirm successful pairing.
  5. For fans without lights, verify successful pairing by testing fan operation.

Installation Instructions

Important Safety Information

Installing the Wall Control

Step 1 - Remove Existing Switch

  1. Turn off power at the breaker.
  2. Remove the wall plate.
  3. Remove the existing wall switch from the electrical box.
  4. Disconnect the switch wiring.

Step 2 - Connect the New Wall Control

Using the supplied wire connectors, connect the wall control according to the wiring diagram supplied with your fan or receiver.

Step 3 - Connect Ground Wire

If a ground wire is present in the electrical box:

  • Connect the wall control ground wire to the house ground wire.

If no ground wire is present:

  • Connect the wall control ground wire to one of the outlet box mounting screws.

Step 4 - Mount the Control

  1. Carefully tuck all wiring into the electrical box.
  2. Secure the wall control using the supplied mounting screws.
  3. Reinstall the wall plate.

Battery Information

The wall control uses:

  • One 12-Volt battery (not included)

For best performance:

  • Remove the battery during extended periods of non-use.
  • Store the control away from excessive heat and humidity.

Troubleshooting

The Fan Does Not Respond

  1. Verify power is restored to the fan.
  2. Confirm all wiring connections are secure.
  3. Repeat the pairing procedure within 60 seconds of restoring power.
  4. Test each fan speed button.
  5. If equipped with a light kit, verify the light blinks twice during pairing.

Light Does Not Dim

Press and hold the Light Control button for more than 0.7 seconds. A quick press will only turn the light on or off.

Pairing Was Not Successful

Turn power off to the fan, wait 30 seconds, restore power, and repeat the pairing process.
