UC7067REV-B | Anderic Reversing Module for Ceiling Fans User Guide

UC7067REVB REVERSE MODULE

Description

The Anderic UC7067REVB Reversing Module is designed to replace a failed reversing module in compatible ceiling fans when the fan no longer changes direction between forward and reverse operation.

Important: This module only controls the fan’s reversing function. If your ceiling fan is completely inoperative (fan and light do not respond), replacing the reversing module will not resolve the issue. In that case, the problem is typically a failed receiver, remote control, or both.

Compatibility

The UC7067REVB is a widely compatible replacement reversing module used in many ceiling fan models.

If your original reversing module has:

  • A 9-pin square connector
  • A similar physical design
  • Matching wire configuration

the UC7067REVB will typically serve as a direct replacement, even if the part numbers printed on the original module differ.

If you are unsure whether this module is compatible with your fan, please contact us before ordering.

Installation

Warning: Turn OFF power to the ceiling fan at the wall switch and circuit breaker before beginning installation.

  1. Remove the ceiling fan canopy or motor housing to access the internal wiring and electronic components.
  2. Locate the existing reversing module and disconnect the 9-pin connector from the receiver.
  3. Disconnect the blue and white light wires by removing the wire nuts.
  4. Remove the old reversing module.
  5. Install the new UC7067REVB by:
    • Connecting the 9-pin square plug securely into the receiver.
    • Reconnecting the blue and white wires using the supplied or existing wire nuts, matching the original wiring configuration.
  6. Verify that all wire connections are secure and that no bare wire is exposed.
  7. Reassemble the fan, restore power, and test both the fan operation and the forward/reverse function.

Note: The exact disassembly procedure varies by ceiling fan model. Refer to your fan’s owner’s manual for model-specific instructions.

Need a New Receiver?

If your ceiling fan doesn't respond to the remote or none of the functions work after installation, you may need to replace the receiver.

Several receiver models are compatible with this reversing module. Please contact us with your ceiling fan model number or photos of your existing receiver, and we’ll help you identify the correct replacement.

Wiring Diagram

The wiring diagram is provided as a reference to help identify each wire and its function during installation.

If your fan’s wiring differs from the diagram or has been modified previously, we strongly recommend consulting a qualified electrician before making any electrical connections. Improper wiring can result in equipment damage or personal injury.

Troubleshooting

The fan does not run after installing the reversing module.

  • Verify that power has been restored at both the circuit breaker and the wall switch.
  • Confirm that the 9-pin connector is fully seated in the receiver.
  • Check that the blue and white wire connections are secure and properly wire-nutted.
  • Inspect all wiring for loose connections or damaged wires.
  • If the fan and light do not operate at all, the issue is likely not the reversing module. The receiver, remote control, or power supply should be inspected.

The fan runs, but the reverse function still does not work.

  • Verify that the reversing module is compatible with your ceiling fan.
  • Ensure the 9-pin connector is fully inserted and locked into place.
  • Some ceiling fan models require the fan blades to be spinning before changing direction. If applicable, turn the fan on first, then activate the reverse function.
  • Confirm that your remote control or wall control includes a functioning reverse button and is compatible with the installed receiver.
  • If the problem persists, the receiver may not be sending the reverse command and may require replacement.

The light works, but the fan will not run.

  • Verify that the reversing module is properly connected.
  • Check that the receiver is compatible and functioning correctly.
  • Confirm the remote control is paired with the receiver (if applicable).
  • Inspect all motor wiring connections inside the fan.

The fan runs, but the light no longer works.

  • Inspect the blue and white light wire connections to ensure they were reconnected correctly.
  • Verify that the light kit is securely connected.
  • Check the bulbs or integrated LED module for proper operation.

The remote no longer controls the fan.

  • Replace the batteries in the remote.
  • Re-pair the remote to the receiver if your fan requires a pairing procedure.
  • Verify that the receiver is receiving power.
  • If the remote still does not operate the fan, you may need to replace the receiver or remote control.

The fan changes direction unexpectedly or operates erratically.

  • Disconnect power and inspect all wiring connections for loose or improperly connected wires.
  • Ensure the reversing module connector is fully seated.
  • Verify that the correct reversing module has been installed for your fan.
  • If the issue continues, the receiver may be malfunctioning.
