[User Guide] Anderic RR1002 Universal Hospitality Ezwipe TV Remote Control
This article applies to the Anderic RR1002 Universal Remote Control.

The RR1002 features a sealed waterproof membrane, making it fully submersible and easy to disinfect—perfect for maintaining cleanliness in high-use public settings. With its oversized buttons, simplified layout, and easy-wipe surface, the RR1002 delivers a frustration-free guest experience while helping reduce accidental setting changes and support calls. The intentional removal of complex controls like the MENU button helps prevent tampering and simplifies operation. The RR1002 is pre-programmed for Samsung TVs and will program to any other major brand TV. Also includes the ability to learn, lock, and set a sleep timer for additional customization when required.
Battery Cover and Battery Install
- The battery door is at the bottom of the remote. Use the supplied Allen wrench tool and insert it into the hole.
- Turn counterclockwise until the battery door releases and remove it.
- Insert 2 AAA (1.5 V) batteries with the correct polarity. See the diagram on the back of the remote for visual.
- Reinstall the battery door and use the tool to secure it back into place.
Program - Code Input Method
Note: The RR1002 is pre-programmed to control Samsung TVs.
- Turn on the TV manually.
- Find your 4-digit code corresponding with your TV brand (Click here to download)
- To Enter Program Mode: Press and hold the [SET] and [POWER] keys simultaneously for 3 seconds, until the indicator light remains on. Then, release the keys.
- Enter the 4-digit code from the code list. After a valid code entry, the indicator light turns off.
- If the indicator light flashes 4 times quickly, an invalid code has been entered, and programming mode is exited.
- Note: After entering programming mode, if no button is pressed for 10 seconds, the remote will quit the mode.
Program - Shortcut Key Method

Turn on the TV manually.
Press and hold [SET] and the respective TV brand key from the chart below.
(0-9, +100, MUTE) Simultaneously, continue to hold the keys until the TV is powered off; the indicator light shall remain on for the duration.
- The remote automatically searches for the code of that TV brand. If the TV is controlled (by powering it on or turning it off), release the buttons to save the code and quit programming.

Program – Manual Code Search
- Turn on the TV.
- Press and hold the [SET] key, then long-press the [CH+] key for about 5 seconds until the indicator light remains on. Release the keys.
- Press and release the [CH+] or [CH-] key, and each press changes the code. If you long-press the [CH+] or [CH-] key code, it will change faster. When the channel changes, please quickly press the [SET] key to save the code.
Note: Pressing [CH+] scrolls forward, while [CH-] scrolls backward through the code database. If no key is pressed within 10 seconds, the setting will exit automatically during the setup process.
Learning Function
- Press and hold [SET] and [VOL+] together for about 5 seconds until the indicator light stays on. Release both buttons. The remote is now in learning mode.
- Point the original remote at the RR1002 from about 1–3 cm away, making sure both IR sensors are lined up.
- Press the button on the original remote you want to copy. (The indicator light will continue to flash) Now press the button on the RR1002 where you want to save that function. (The indicator light will remain on)
- Repeat Step 3 for any additional buttons.
- When finished, press and hold [SET] and [VOL-] together to save and exit learning mode. The indicator light will turn off.
Note: If no button is pressed for 25 seconds, the remote will exit learning mode without saving.
Code Identification
- Press and hold the [SET] and [POWER] keys simultaneously for 3 seconds; the indicator light shall remain on, then release the keys.

Input [9] [9] [0] with number keys. The indicator light will flash twice and
turn off.
- Press key [1], count the number of indicator light flashes, and write it down.
- Press key [2], count the number of indicator light flashes, and write it down.
- Press key [3], count the number of indicator light flashes, and write it down.
- Press key [4], count the number of indicator light flashes, and write it down.
Note: If the code number is 0. The indicator light will not flash.
Factory Reset
- Press and hold the [SET] and [POWER] keys simultaneously for 3 seconds. The indicator light will remain on. Release the keys.
- Press the [CC] key, and the light will flash 3 times. The remote has now been reset to factory settings.
Setting the Sleep Timer
Note: The SLEEP button activates your TV's Sleep function, if it's supported. Alternatively, using the instructions in this section, you can configure the remote to turn off your TV after 1 to 99 minutes. This feature works even if your TV does not have its Sleep function.
- First, ensure that you have programmed the remote to your TV using one of the methods above.
- After successfully programming your remote, try pressing the SLEEP button first and make sure the on-screen sleep option DOES NOT appear before continuing. If the TV's sleep timer does appear on the screen, the remote is already working.
- Press and hold the [SLEEP] key until the indicator light blinks and remains on, and then release the key.
- Using the numeric keypad, press the numbers 01-99, depending on how many minutes you want before the TV turns off (E.g., if you press 01, the TV will turn off in 1 minute). Then, the indicator light will turn off. Your TV Sleep Timer is now set.
- Leave the remote pointing towards the TV with an unobstructed path.
Note: To cancel the sleep function, press and hold the [SLEEP] or [POWER] key for 3 seconds. Pressing any other additional buttons on the remote will not cancel the sleep timer.
Setup Lock
- Press and hold the [SET] and [POWER] keys simultaneously for 3 seconds; the indicator light will remain on, then release the keys.
- Input code using keys [9] [9] [6] [6]; the indicator light will flash (5) five times. The remote is locked and cannot be programmed unless these steps are repeated.
Note: You can repeat the above steps to unlock the remote.
This unit will retain its programmed codes when the batteries are changed.
