[User Guide] Anderic CBL01 & CBL02 Security Cable

The Anderic CBL01 and the CBL02 Universal Tether are coiled security cables designed to keep your remote control secure and easily accessible. Ideal for public spaces, offices, or areas where remote theft is a concern, the CBL01/CBL02 helps prevent loss or misplacement of your remote.

CBL01 - Setup Instructions

1. Attach the Cable to a Secure Location

Choose a fixed point to secure the cable (such as a table, wall mount, or any stable surface).
The CBL01 comes with a durable security attachment loop at one end. Simply attach it to a stationary object or an anchor point in the space.

2. Attach the Remote Control to the Tether

The other end of the cable has a universal attachment loop that fits most remote controls.
Once connected, the remote will be tethered and stay attached even if it is moved or dropped.

CBL02 Universal - Setup Instructions

Attach the Cable to a Secure Location. Please refer to the image below for assistance.

Choose a fixed point to secure the cable (such as a table, wall mount, or any stable surface).
The CBL02 features double-sided tape and hook-and-loop (Velcro) tape.

Secure one double-sided tape to each rectangular bracket on each end of the cable. Refer to points 1 and 4 in the reference image below.
Separate the hook-and-loop tape so that you can adhere each half to the opposite side of the rectangular bracket that you placed the double-sided tape on in the previous step. Refer to points 2 and 3 in the reference image below.
Use the double-sided tape and attach one end of the cable to a flat surface, a wall, a stationary object, or an anchor point in the space. See point 1 in the reference image below.
Attach the other end to the back of the remote control or other object that you will be handling. See point 5 in the reference image below.

Note: When you attach the cable to the remote control, please make sure that the opening of the battery compartment is not covered and that the cable makes a secure attachment to the remote.
