Pairing Instructions
- Locate the Model Number: Find your original remote by comparing images in chart or locating the model number in row 3. (These are the model numbers of the remotes)
- Identify the Assigned Keys: Refer to the table row 4 (CODE) and locate the two buttons assigned to that model. (ie ECO + Mode)
- Enter Programming Mode: Press and hold the two assigned buttons simultaneously for about 2 seconds until the indicator light flashes three times.
- Programming Complete: Once the indicator light flashes three times, the remote has been successfully programmed.



Learning Mode
- Enter Learning Mode: Press and hold the OSC and TEMP+ buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds. The LED indicator will remain solid, indicating that the remote has entered learning mode.
- Point Remotes Face to Face: Position the original remote approximately 3–5 cm (1–2 inches) away from the RRFAN100A, with the two remotes facing head-to-head.
- Send Signal: Press the desired button on the original remote. The LED on the RRFAN100A will flash, indicating it is receiving the signal.
- Assign Learned Button: Press the corresponding button on the RRFAN100A to store the function. The LED will stay solid, confirming the signal has been successfully learned.
- Repeat for All Buttons: Repeat these steps for any additional buttons you wish to learn.
- Exit Learning Mode: Press and hold the OSC and TEMP- buttons simultaneously to exit learning mode. The LED will turn off, indicating the remote has returned to normal operation.
Button Functions

Troubleshooting
If the remote does not program or operate your device correctly, please review the following:
- Confirm the Model Number: Ensure you have correctly identified the model number of your original remote and selected the correct two buttons assigned to that model.
- Repeat the Programming Process: Press and hold the two assigned buttons at the same time for about 2 seconds until the indicator light flashes three times. If the light does not flash, release the buttons and try again.
- Check the Battery: Make sure the battery is installed correctly and has sufficient power.
- Ensure Proper Distance: Point the remote directly at the device and confirm there are no obstructions between the remote and the device.
- Verify Button Functions: Some functions may be assigned to specific buttons depending on the programmed model.
- Note: Some buttons may not function after programming depending on the device model. Make sure you are pressing the correct button assigned to the remote. For example, the Sleep Mode buttons 6 and 7 are very similar in appearance, and only the correct assigned button will operate the function.
LED Indicator Guide
- Flashing three times – Quick programming successful
- Solid light – Learning mode active / confirmed
- Flashing – Receiving IR signal
- Off – Normal operation
