[User Guide] Anderic UC7058RY UC7058YM-01 For Windward II Ceiling Fan Receiver Installation Instructions

This article applies to the Anderic UC7058RY ceiling fan receiver.

Compatibility

The Anderic UC7058RY ceiling fan receiver is compatible with select fans that already come with the same receiver pre-installed, such as the Windward II ceiling fan. The compatible remote controls for this ceiling fan receiver are the Anderic RR7078TR and the RR7083TR. For more information on pairing with the RR7078TR remote control, please visit this link. In some cases, you may require the Molex to Amp adapter ceiling fan cable if the 9-pin plugs do not match.

Installation instructions:

1. Turn off the power to the fan at the circuit breaker box.
2. Remove the screws from the receiver cover (located on top of the motor housing).
3. Remove any zip ties holding down the wires.
4. Loosen the screw that holds down the clip, which secures the power wires and antenna wire (if necessary).
5. Use pliers to remove the crimps holding the receiver's blue and white wires.
6. Disconnect the 9-pin connector.
7. Remove the two screws holding down the receiver.
8. Install the new receiver using the same steps above in reverse order. Use wire nuts to connect the blue and white wires from the receiver to the blue and white wires from the fan.

Pairing with remote:

Note: This unit features a total of 16 different code combinations, utilizing the four dip switches located on both the remote and the receiver.

1. On the remote: Remove the battery cover and set the dip switches to any pattern.
2. On the receiver: Set the dip-switches to the same pattern as the remote. See the diagram below.
