Replacing the Harbor Breeze Mazon Ceiling Fan Receiver with the Anderic MRAC06S1M-LD-F0

This article applies to the Anderic MRAC06S1M-LD-F0 ceiling fan receiver. This article will help assist you in installing this receiver into your Harobr Breeze Mazon ceiling fans, models include: 0807421, 2599776, 1059534, MZ44WW3LR, MZ44WW3LR, MZ44MBLK3LR

This receiver is compatible with the Anderic RRTR214D Ceiling Fan Remote Control, as well as the following Harbor Breeze models: A25-FA0138, KUJCE10311, TR214B, KUJCE10712, TR214A, KUJCE10610, and 2BB78ITLF304C. For pairing with the Anderic RRTR214D, please visit this link.

Warnings

  • We recommend hiring an electrician.
  • Ensure that the power to the fan is completely turned off via the circuit breaker before proceeding.
  • Please be cautious when standing on ladders and when disassembling the fan, as it could fall and cause injury during this installation.

Removing the old receiver

Please refer to the image below for assistance.

  1. Turn the power off to the fan via the circuit breaker.
  2. Remove the Canopy ring (1. Screw cover) plate at the ceiling housing by unsnapping it from the base and letting if fall toward the motor.
  3. Remove the four screws surrounding the canapy (2.) Please be careful as the fan may fall at this point. Make sure the hook (6) securely holds the fan. We recommend having another individual assist while you proceed.

  4. Completely twist off all wire nuts, disconnecting all wires from the ceiling, and remove the fan. Place the entire fan on the floor to continue.
  5. Remove any wire ties and screws holding the receiver in place and remove the receiver.

Installing the new receiver

  1. Place the new receiver where the old one was and secure it with the screws that you removed in the last step.
  2. Install the fan in the reverse order above. Please refer to your ceiling fan's operating manual for assistance with installation at this point. The Mazon Ceiling Fan's operating manual is available for reference here.
