[User Guide] Anderic RR7083T Ceiling Fan Remote Control - UC7083T CHQ7083T RR7083TR RR7083TUDL

This article applies to the Anderic RR7083T, RR7083TR, and RR7083TUDL ceiling fan remote controls.

Compatibility

These remotes operate on 303.835 (304MHz) frequency with the FCC ID number: CHQ7083T

  • The Anderic RR7083T remote control is compatible with any 3-speed fan that has the UC7067FMRX or FAN28R receivers installed.
  • The Anderic RR7083TR remote control is compatible with many 3-speed fans that have one of the following receivers installed: UC7067FMRX with a UC7067REVB reversing module, or a similar reversing model, such as FAN2RUC7058RY, or UC7051R.
  • The Anderic RR7083TUDL remote control is compatible with any 3-speed fan that has the UC7067GMRX receiver installed.

Instructions

Button Functions

  • LIGHT / DIMMER: Press the light button to toggle the fan's lights on/off. Press and hold the light button to cycle through dimming. Release when your desired brightness is reached.
  • UP Light (only applicable with the RR7083TUDL): Press to toggle the upper lights on and off.

Fan Speeds:

Press the respective button to select the desired fan speed.

  • LO: Turns the fan on to the lowest speed.
  • MED: Turns the fan on to the second-highest speed.
  • HI: Turns the fan on to the highest speed.
  • FAN OFF: Power the fan completely off. 
  • REVERSE (only applicable with the RR7083TR): Press to toggle the fan direction forward or reverse.

Removing the battery cover

Note: See reference image below.

Slide [1] the battery door off by pressing in and down toward the bottom of the remote, removing the cover from the battery compartment [2].


Battery Installation

Note: see reference image below.

  1. Install a 23A battery, ensuring the polarity matches by aligning the prongs of the battery with the corresponding prong on the battery terminal [2].
  2. Then align the battery so that it fits entirely inside the battery compartment.

Installing the wall mount

Note: see the reference image below.

  1. Find a suitable area on the wall.
  2. Remove the screw hole covers [2 and 4] using a flathead screwdriver. Insert the screwdriver into the small divot below the screw hole cover and gently pop them out.
  3. Mark the holes by aligning the wall mount on the wall, using a pencil.
  4. Install anchors (not provided), if needed, and insert the two screws through the wall mount [2] and into the anchor holes, securing the wall mount to the wall.
